2013 EVENT SCHEDULE (subject to change)

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18  
4–7pm  Early Packet Pickup Party & Spaghetti Feed inside Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church Basement Hall. Music and Fun!  First come first serve Spaghetti Dinner is $10/person. Partial proceeds to Lisa Acuna Scholarship Fund, aiding in the fight against cancer. Get carbed up!


SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19
7–8:45am  Packet Pickup near the Superior Courthouse stairs. Try to arrive 6-7am for easy parking and short lines. Registrants must pick up their own packet in person. Breakfast snacks available in the St. Pat’s social hall 6:30-8:30am. Partial proceeds to Lisa Acuna Bisbee High School Scholarship Fund. Breakfast also available across from start line/Iron Man at High Desert Market & Café.

8:50–9am  Bisbee 1000 Event Start Staggered Wave Starts (2 min.). Must be in numbered corral by 8:50am. The event is chip timed, results based on your personal net time, not on gun time! (i.e. when you cross electronic sensor)

11am–1pm  Reddy Ice Ironman Ice Competition EXTREME SPORT! AMAZING RACE!  Carry a 10 lb. block of ice held in antique tongs up 155 stairs, then run back down a curvy mountain road. Individual and Team Cash Prizes! Ice compliments of Reddy Ice.

Noon  Awards Ceremony at Superior Courthouse Stairs at finish line. Overall and age group awards, special awards in many diverse categories, such as family awards, costume awards, youngest and oldest. There will be giveaways, entertainment and prizes!  Must be present to win great prizes.  Raffle awarded at Ceremony.

1-6pm  BISBEE 1000 INVITATIONAL CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL

1-2pm VIP Admission, 2-6pm General Admission. MEET THE BEST OF THE WEST MICRO BREWERS! SAMPLE THEIR CRAFTS!  Live Music!  Bisbee 1000 Souvenirs!  T-Shirts!  Snacks by Turquoise Valley Golf, Restaurant and RV!  $25 admission. $20 admission for Bisbee 1000 Participants. Outdoor Festival in parking lot adjacent to Bisbee Coffee Company.


SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20
10–Noon  Bisbee 1000 Brunch Special Location TBA.
